Officers and staff of The Museum are more than happy to discuss various types of contributions that can be made to support your museum's collections.

Donations of the following materials are welcomed:

  • Artifacts of historic importance
  • Manuscript collections and personal papers
  • Books and printed materials, related to San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles history and culture
  • Ephemera including: postcards, photographs, promotional artifacts
  • Works of art
  • Crafts reflecting the ethnic groups of the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles Area.
  • Recordings and oral histories
Since conservation and restoration are major concerns for The Museum's collections, arrangements for endowments to support major donations are sought. Significant donations of art or artifacts require a standard "deed of gift" document.

For more information, please contact Gary Fredburg, Vice President at (818) 347-9665 PST, email at gary.fredburg@TheMuseumSFV.org or visit the Contact page. In the subject line of any email, please indicated artifacts for the Museum.
